Hola,

Day 1/2 on the morning of day 3.

And to think I used to THINK Toronto was huge!

The Sierra Nevada mountains were really nice to see flying in. I sat with a guy named Luke who was off to Tai-Pei to shoot a student film about his friends adopted mother. The food sucked. The landings and take-offs and turbulence were exciting.

LAX is bigger than Sudbury. I'm convinced. And it's at least 5 times bigger than Peason International in TO.

Anyway. Yesterday... I saw USC, UCLA, Hollywood, Bel-Air and Beverly Hills. Santa Monica and it's famous pier. We went down Hollywood blv. Sunset blv. Even East LA all the way to Oceanic Ave.

West Hollywood is my fav. spot so far. Every 3-4th store is a tattoo parlour. Or some alternative sort of styling/clothing store. The Chinese theater was freaking awesome too. Shopped at Amoeba. The biggest fucking new/used CD store I've ever seen. It was a madhouse. And that's only cuz there were hundreds of people in there shopping like CD's are going outta style. Oh wait. they are. nm.

Jack in the Box has by far the greatest fast-food chicken fajita you'll ever have. I lost my Taco Bell virginity unfortunately. Chicken quesedillas suck but I can see how they're addictive.

It's really 8 am here. It's already 78 degrees. The sun is like. Closer to the earth here.

Oh, and we got like, a few drops or rain yesterday while driving up in the Hills. Bob said it never rains here in the summer, and that was one of the rarest things EVER. It's cuz that hurricane that hit the other side of the cintinent or something. I dunno. People didn't even bother to drop their tops down. Bob joked that half of them probably don't know what windshield wipers are.

I saw a stretched Hummer H2 limo on the 405 (I thnk) and a Rolls Royce in Bel-Air. Everyone here drives BMW's and Mercedes. And those Nissan 350Z's are rampant. They're cute. I'll admit.

Bob's house is this really sweet latino style bungalow. It's covered in vines and flowers, and there's lemon trees, orange trees, tomatoes, yellow zuccini etc etc etc.

I picked oranged and made orange juice. BEST EVER.

I'm gonna go to the YMCA this morning and then get my rollerblades fixed then going bodyboarding in the pacific. It's only 6 miles away. You can pretty much smell the breeze from here. Well faintly.

I'm gonna go get film today and take pictures.

Bailamos.
